Shangaan Electro is a dance movement and musical style that originated from a 21st-century revival of local folk traditions in South African townships, blending elements of Tsonga Disco and Kwaito House. This movement has been primarily led by producer Nozinja in recent years, transforming it into an iconic Afro-futurist subgenre of electronic dance music.
